Ocular at St. Jerome Emiliani and Sta. Susana Parish
This is where we attend mass every Sunday, St. Jerome Emiliani and Sta. Susana Parish in Alabang (beside Alabang Town Center). I always liked the structure and the solemnity of the church. It is ideal for intimate weddings because it is small. I didn't like the thought of walking long aisle during wedding so St. Jerome is really good for me. Another good reason for choosing this to hold our ceremony is that it is very near Vivere Hotel, where we would like our reception to be. I think it would be only 5-10min away. It also has ample parking spaces for all the guests.
However, there are also CONS:
* Flower girls/coin/ring bearers should be 5 years old & above.
--- Drake is only 2y/o by that time, and he's my only nephew. He can't be not included on the entourage. Good thing, the lady at the parish office is kind enough to allow us one entourage below 5y/o provided that the child has to walk without any companion and he/she will not cry. Definitely, Drake can do that! ;)
* No tube, sleeveless and backless for the whole entourage. :( Unless they have shawl or bolero.
--- I guess this is okay. I will just provide everyone their shawls/bolero. * No rice/confetti throwing inside or outside the church.
--- We're thinking of sparklers instead. It's great for photo ops! :)
Church fee is P15,000 for 2015 weddings plus P7,000 for floral arrangement. It's a bit pricey so we will still look for other church near Vivere. If we didn't, then this would be fine.
